Required action by 31/03/2026: Verify your PYLON Serial Number (myAccount & MFA)
Epsilon Net has enabled a new process for PYLON desktop applications: Serial Number Details Verification. This process links your subscription/installation to verified contact details and strengthens secure access to services across the Epsilon Net ecosystem.
Please note the key deadline: 31/03/2026.
What is “Serial Number Verification”?
This is a verification process that confirms key information related to your PYLON installation, including:
- Serial Number
- Tax ID (AFM)
- Machine ID (server identifier)
The verification is completed via myAccount.epsilonnet.gr and includes Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), using a one-time password (OTP) sent to the registered mobile number.
Why is this being introduced (what you gain)
This change is intended to deliver:
- Stronger security: improved identity verification and protection using MFA/OTP.
- Unified access to the Epsilon Net ecosystem: smoother and more secure use of connected services and tools.
- Readiness for new services: verification is a prerequisite for enabling new functionality, including upcoming AI services for desktop applications.
Timeline – what applies
- The process is available now (depending on your application version).
- It can be postponed until 31/03/2026.
- From 01/04/2026, verification becomes mandatory.
Important: Starting 01/04/2026, users who have not completed verification may no longer be able to access their PYLON applications.
How to complete the verification (simple steps)
The process must be performed by a user with Admin rights:
- Log into the application using an Admin user.
- A verification screen will appear showing Serial / Tax ID (AFM) / Machine ID.
- Click Verify and enter the email address used for myAccount.epsilonnet.gr.
- Complete the verification by entering the OTP code sent to the registered mobile number.
- Confirm that the status is shown as Verified.
