Digital Delivery Notes: New Obligations from December 1st, 2025
What’s changing for your business?
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) through decisions A.1122/2024 and A.1123/2024 introduces new obligations for issuing digital goods movement documents. From December 1st, 2025, all businesses with turnover below €200,000 must issue digital delivery notes through a computerized process.
Who does it affect?
- From June 1st, 2025: Companies with gross revenue exceeding €200,000
- From December 1st, 2025: All other businesses with turnover below €200,000
What does the new process include?
Issuing digital delivery notes requires:
1. Computerized Document Issuance
All movement documents (invoices and delivery notes) must be issued through your ERP system.
2. Automatic Transmission to myDATA
Documents are automatically transmitted to myDATA and the recipient is immediately notified.
3. QR Code for Verification
Each movement document features a QR Code that allows immediate verification of shipments by the competent authorities during goods transportation.
Technical Prerequisites & Requirements
For your business to comply with the new obligations, specific technical upgrades are required:
Software & Database
- Upgrade or configuration of the database for full myDATA compatibility
- ERP software upgrade to a version supporting digital movement documents
- System configuration according to Article 3 of A.1124/2024
Operating System
- Upgrade to Windows 10 or Windows 11 for optimal performance and security
Hardware
For smooth system operation, the following is required:
- RAM: 8-16GB
- Disk: SSD for faster processing
- Processor: 6th generation Intel/AMD or newer
